Choosing a childcare center is one of the most meaningful decisions your family will make. We’ve designed our enrollment process to be clear, personal, and unhurried — because getting this right matters.

First Beginnings Academy in Kirkland, WA opens Fall 2026. Tours and enrollment open Summer 2026.

Our Enrollment Process

Schedule a Tour
Every enrollment starts with a visit. Come see our classrooms, meet our team, and get a real feel for what First Beginnings Academy is all about. We encourage you to bring your child — and all your questions. There are no silly ones. Tours are available by appointment and can be scheduled online. Spots fill quickly, especially close to launch — we recommend booking early.

Submit an Application
After your tour, families who’d like to move forward complete an enrollment application. Applications are reviewed based on availability in the appropriate age group. If a classroom is currently full, you’re welcome to join our waitlist — we’ll reach out as soon as a spot opens. Your child’s place is secured once all required forms are complete and the enrollment deposit has been received.

Classroom Introduction
Before your child’s first day, we invite your family back to the classroom to meet their teachers, explore the space, and get comfortable in the environment. This step makes a real difference — for children and parents alike. Familiar faces and spaces make first mornings so much easier.

Preparing for the First Day
Once enrollment is finalized, our team will share guidance to help you prepare. We work closely with families in the weeks leading up to the first day to ensure the transition is positive, calm, and confident for your child. First days at First Beginnings Academy are warm, welcoming, and genuinely exciting. Your child is going to love it here.

A Few Things to Know

  • Enrollment is open to children from 6 weeks through school age
  • Priority waitlist enrollment available before official opening
  • Evening drop-in (Stargazers) is available as a separate, flexible option
  • We welcome families from Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, and the greater Eastside
